These terms apply when you use this site or book a class with Sketch Hour. By booking, you agree to them.
1. What we provide
We sell places in 60-minute sketching classes. Each lesson is pre-recorded and is broadcast over the internet at the start time you book. A lesson cannot be paused, rewound or replayed, and nobody is watching you while you take it. Every booking also includes written feedback on the drawing you make in that class, as described in section 2.
2. Feedback on your drawing
After the class starts, and for 7 days after it ends, you can upload up to 3 photos of the drawing you made in it. A reviewer will look at them and write you feedback, which we aim to deliver within 48 hours of your upload, to your dashboard and by email. Feedback is our honest opinion, meant to help you improve; it is not a grade or a certificate. Please only upload your own drawings, and nothing you would not want a reviewer to see. We may decline to review uploads that are not drawings from the class.
3. Who can book
You must be 18 or over to book a class.
4. Bookings and payment
A booking is for one place in one class at one start time. The price is shown before you pay and is charged once; there is no subscription. Payment is taken by Stripe. Your place is confirmed when payment succeeds.
5. Joining your class
You join from your account, signed in with the email address you booked with. The link to your class is released shortly before the start. A class starts at its start time whether or not you have joined; if you arrive late you join it part-way through. You need a device and a connection that can play video, which are your responsibility.
6. Changes and refunds
If you cannot make a class, email hello@sketchhour.com before it starts and we will move your booking to another time. Once a class has been broadcast, the booking has been used and is not refundable. If a fault on our side stops a class from being broadcast, we will move your booking or refund it, whichever you prefer. Nothing in these terms affects rights you have by law.
7. The class chat
The chat is shared with the other people booked into your session. Be decent in it. Do not post anything abusive, unlawful or promotional, and do not pretend to be staff. We may remove messages and block access to the chat. Answers from the automated assistant are generated by software and may be wrong.
8. Our content
The classes and everything else on this site belong to us or our licensors. Your booking lets you watch the class you booked, for yourself. You may not record, copy, share or rebroadcast a class, or share your class link. Your drawings stay yours: by uploading one you only let us store it and use it to give you feedback. We will never publish your drawing without asking you first.
9. Liability
We provide the classes with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from taking part in a class, or for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
